We are the Burford Farming Club, affiliated with the Oxfordshire Federation of Farming clubs. Our club welcomes anyone interested in local farming and participates in various farming events.
We aim to provide a meeting place for like-minded individuals through regular winter meetings and summer visits organized by the Burford Farming Club. Our farming events include crop competitions, with winners advancing to the County competitions under the auspices of the Oxfordshire Federation.
Our winter meetings for the Burford Farming Club are generally held at the Inn for All Seasons. During the summer, we organize several farming events, including farm visits and a clay shoot. This year, we had a behind-the-scenes tour of the Cotswold Wildlife Park, a Gun Dog Test, and a trip to Farm Ed, all part of the Oxfordshire Federation's activities.
In early February, the Burford Farming Club hosts its Annual Dinner & Dance, where over 100 people come together for a very social and enjoyable evening, celebrating the spirit of farming events in the community, supported by the Oxfordshire Federation.
Subscriptions for the Burford Farming Club are paid annually by direct debit. Membership costs £40/year, which includes a light supper at the AGM and fees for crop competition entries. The club actively participates in farming events and is part of the Oxfordshire Federation. Non-members are very welcome to join us at £3/night, with the first night free!
Please visit the events page to find the latest programme for the Burford Farming Club and upcoming farming events organized by the Oxfordshire Federation.
